Longtime Jamestown resident Marilyn June Faught died Thursday at a Modesto medical center. She was 71.
She was born in Oklahoma City, and had lived in Jamestown since 1963. She was owner and operator of a flooring business in the Sonora area with her husband.
Her family said she loved to travel with her husband, Joe, and her favorite place was along the California coast. She loved arts and crafts, including painting, watercolor painting and sewing, her family added.
She was a member of the Jamestown Kingdom Hall.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Joe Faught of Jamestown; a daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Sam Brown of Moccasin; sons and daughter-in-law, Randy and Karen Faught, and Mike Faught, all of Sonora; her mother, Mary York of Fresno; a brother and sister-in-law, James and Maryann York of Fresno; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Wayne York.
Services were held.
