The Holy Trinity church in Otter Creek township was the scene Wednesday morning of the marriage of two young people of that community - Anthony Kucera and Miss Agnes Hala. The ceremony, performed by the Rev. Father F. Gorecki at 10 a.m., was witnessed by more than eighty guests. Attendants were Frank Kucera, a brother of the bridegroom, and Miss Anna Hala, a sister of the bride. The bride wore a gown of white satin, trimmed in rhinestones and ribbons, with wreath and veil to match. She carried a bouquet of yellow roses, baby s breath and ferns. The bridesmaid s dress was of pink crepe and her bouquet of pink and white carnations. The wedding march was played by Cyril Benda, violinist, with Miss Martha Benda at the organ. A dinner followed at noon at the Hala home, with sixty or more persons taking part. Those who acted as table waiters were the Misses Tillie Chizek, Agnes Zmolek, Blanche Zmolek, Anna Kvidera, and Alba Hala. All wore pink dresses and white aprons, with white ribbons in their hair. The home was decorated for the occasion in pink and white. A supper was also served in the evening. Both young people were educated in the rural schools of their home community, graduating from the eighth grade, and in recent years have been living at home. Mr. Kucera is a son of Mrs. Anna Kucera, northeast of Toledo, while the bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank S. Hala, near Dupanda hall. They will take no wedding trip but will occupy one of the Kucera farms, adjoining the home place of the bridegroom s mother.
