HILLS VILLE — Joseph Cameron Montgomery, 84, of Rt. 3, Hillsville, who resided near Highway 100 died In a Wytheville hospital Sunday afternoon, July 24, 1966. He was bom in Carroll County February 24, 1882.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Susie Elizabeth Montgomery a daughter, Mrs. Gertrude Dalton, Crimora, and three sons, Paul Montgomery, Hillsville, Earl Montgomery, Colorado Springs, Colo., and Carl Montgomery, Stewart Air Force Base, Tenn. The funeral was at 2 p.m.
Tuesday, July 26, at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Clarence Marshall and the Rev. Charlie Simmons. Burial was in the Jennings Cemetery.
