George W. Pressel
George Washington Pressel, 79, retired farmer, died Friday evening at 7:30 o'clock at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Lyman Zumbrum, Manheim Township, Hanover R.D. 2.
Mr. Pressel was a son of the late David and Rebecca (Lightner) Pressel, and was born August 3, 1855. His wife, who before marriage was Margaret Wildasin, preceded him in death.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Lyman Zumbrum, with whom he resided; two grandchildren, two brothers, Daniel Pressel, Abbottstown, and Samuel Pressel, York, and two sisters, Mrs. Abraham Auchey, Hanover, and Mrs. John W. Albright, near Brodbecks.
Funeral services were held this afternoon at the home at 1 o'clock with further services in St. Paul's (Dub's) Church. The Rev. Dr. E. M. Sando, pastor of the West Manheim Reformed charge, officiating. Burial in St. Paul's (Dub's) Cemetery.
