Jessie was preceded in death by his parents: Wiley and Mary Rivers Meshell; two sisters, Lillie Mae Meshell and Beatrice Linkous; and three brothers: Max, Marvin and Ed Meshell. He is survived by ex-wife: Etta Meshell; three brothers: Alfred Meshell and wife, Margie, of Stonewall; Charles Meshell and wife: Shirley; and Gerald Meshell and wife: Georgina, all of Zwolle; sister: Juanita Sue Morris and husband: Rusty, of Logansport; nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Pallbearers were Gerald Meshell Jr., Allen Wooley, Michael Morris, Dagel Ebarb, Joshua Wooley and James Brown.
