Husband and Five Children Survive
-Funeral Will Be Announced Probably Tomorrow.
Mrs. Roccina M. Parker, wife of County Assessor J. R. Parker, died at 12:30 o'clock this morning after an illness of five days. She had been in poor health for a long time.
Mrs. Parker was 55 years old and was born September 10, 1857, in Dartford, Wis. She married J. R. Parker February 10, 1884. The family came to this county twenty years ago from Fronier County, Neb.
The husband and five children survive. The children are Ernest R. Parker and Angie G. Parker of Topeka and Flora Parker, Anna E. Parker and John H. Parker of Ottawa.
Mrs. Parker was a member of Oakland Methodist Episcopal Church. The funeral services will be held from the home Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial in Baxter Cemetery.
