Effie C. (Noble) Pernod, 94, 2629 East Lynn St., died Saturday evening in Community Hospital.
She was a native of Madison County.
Surviving are two sons, Everett Stafford of Cocoa Beach, Fla., and Marshall Stafford of Muncie; two daughters, Mrs. Ronald (Katherine) Frost of Parish, FLA., and Mrs. Robert (Kathleen) Hunt of Anderson; 25 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Noffze Funeral Home, Alexandria, with the Rev. Jerry Young officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
