Several buried in this cemetery. His brother Comfort is buried nearby. Although there is a GAR flag at his grave, record of only a 3 month stint in the GAR has been found by me. His son David Porter was a Civil War veteran and his son Daniel Warren was killed in 1865 at the Reduction of Fort Fisher in NC. He is buried here along side his father. See street side of stone.
