Obituary-
On April 13, 1989 at the St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg, Mrs. Madeline Norma French, aged 61 years, beloved wife of Kenneth of Dominion City, Manitoba.
A memorial service took place on Monday, April 17, 1989 at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church in Dominion City with Rev. Lesley Fox officiating. Cremation has taken place.
Besides her beloved husband Ken, Mrs. French leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Maxine and Allan Wood of Ottawa, Sherri-Lyn and Kaol Sigurdson of Winnipeg; three sons, Kimberley "Kim" and Sharon and their children, Kelsey and Kaylin, Patrick and Lorri and their children, Shawn, Jeffrey and Darla, Blair all of Dominion City.
Her parents Julius and Matilda Henning of Emerson Personal Care Home; two brothers, Alvin and Dorothy of Winnipeg, Harvey of Surrey, B.C. ; two sisters, Winona and Arnold Stewart of Victoria, B.C., Donna and Garry Glowasky of Birds Hill, Mb. and numerous relatives and friends.
Through the years, Madeline has been a member of many community groups, including the Community Club, Curling Club and United Church Women and took an active part in these. She enjoyed golfing, camping and entertaining friends in her home. She cherished her family and always enjoyed having them home.
The family would like to gratefully acknowledge the care and concern given by doctors and nursing staff at St. Boniface Hospital. Special thanks to Sister Tina. God took the sunshine from the skies And made the love sight in your eyes.
