Rebecca Ellen (Wolfe) Lett was the daughter of Dr. George Washington Wolfe and Mary Brenton Barker. She married Walter G. Lett 19 Feb 1860, in Howard County, Indiana.
Together they had 14 children: Beverly Ward, Eddie, Elmer Everett, Walter Moses, Albert McDade, Leni Leoti, Laura Luella, Sampson Preston, Mary Brenton, Sallie, J. R. Graves, D. B. Ray, Thomas Flavius, and Rachel Alpha.
Rebecca died on her family farm, with her daughter Leni beside her.
Rebecca Ellen Wolfe was born in Clinton County, Indiana, November 5, 1843. She was married to Walter G. Lett, January 19, 1860. To this union were born fourteen children, six of whom are now living: Mrs. C. H. Baker of Neosho, Mary Lett, S. P. Lett, F. F. Lett of Stella, route 2, W. M. Lett of Powell, Mo., and A. M. Lett of Wyandotte, Oklahoma.
Thirty grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren also mourn her loss.
She has been a Baptist for over forty years and as the wife of a faithful minister, lived a life of service for her Master.
The last two months of her life were spent on the bed of affliction. While we, who are left behind mourn her loss, yet our loss is her gain, for she has just begun to live.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Luther Carlon and the body was laid to rest in Owsley Cemetery beside the body of her husband, Rev. W. G. Lett.

LETT—Rebecca Ellen Lett, widow of Rev. W. G. Lett, died at her home near McNatt, November 25, 1924. Her remains were laid to rest in Owsley cemetery November 27, 1924, Rev. Luther Carlon conducting the funeral services. Rebecca Ellen Wolfe was born November 5, 1843, in Clinton county, Indiana. She was married to Walter G. Lett January 19, 1860. He left her a widow March 17, 1919. She has been a faithful Baptist over forty years. She is survived by four sons, two daughters, thirty grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren, who feel her absence deeply.

The date given in the obituary is not supported by Indiana marriage records. She and Walter married on February 19, 1860, in Howard County, Indiana, as noted above.
F.F. Lett in the obituary should read "T. F. Lett".
