LIVE WIRE KILLS MAN

Lineman at Wallace Comes Into Con-
tact With Current.

G. C. Darst, a lineman employed by the Northwest Light & Water Company of Wallace, was instantly killed when he picked up a guy-wire which was grounded, it is understood, by his contact, from a wire carrying a 2300-volt primary current says the Wallace Press Times. The accident occurred in the rear of the residence property of Attorney C.W. Beale, 107 Cedar Street.

It appears that the guy-wire had been by a falling tree limb which was broken off under the weight of snow week before last. Darst was one of the crew sent to the scene to make the necessary repairs. A physician was summoned immediately, but the man's life was already extinct.
