A. Virginia Maple Frost, age 81, of Hinckley, IL, passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2000 at Provena-Mercy Center, Aurora, IL.
    She was born on April 26, 1919 in South Dakota. The former Virginia "Ginger" Marvick was united in marriage to F. Edward "Bud" Maple, and they spent many happy years together until his passing. She was then united in marriage to William Ray Frost, who has also preceded in death. Ginger was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt, who will be deeply missed by her family and many friends.
    Mrs. Frost was a member of the Hinckley United Methodist Church in Hinckley, IL. In her younger years, she served as both a Sunday School Teacher, and a Cub Scout Leader. Ginger was a Charter Member of the Indian Oaks Country Club in Shabbona, where she spent many happy times playing golf and cards. Throughout her life, Ginger loved to travel and had been able to visit many different countries all over the world.
    She is survived by her children, Jerry Maple of Earlville, John Maple of Hinckley, Jim Frost of Atlanta, GA, Sharon (Jim) Joyner of Virginia Beach, VA and Bill (Sandi) Frost of Hinckley; her four grandchildren, Douglass E. Maple of Urbana, IL, Andrea (Cory) Hansen of East Moline, Matthew B. Maple of Monterey, CA and Don (Denise) Frost of Hinckley; her five great-grandchildren; her sisters, Gretta (Bob) Heriaud of Waterman, IL and Carol (Dick) Boos of Portland, OR; her brother, Henry (Jackie) Marvick of Leland, IL; her sister-in-law, Dixie Marvick of Leland, IL; as well as several nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bud Maple and Ray Frost; her daughter-in-law, Karen Maple; and her brother, Orin Marvick.
    Funeral services will be held at 3 PM on Saturday, August 19, 2000 at the Hinckley United Methodist Church in Hinckley, IL with Reverend D. Robin Benson officiating. Interment will follow in the North Clinton Cemetey in Hinckley, IL. Friends may call from 4 until 8 PM on Friday, August 18, 2000 at the Nash-Nelson Memorial Chapel, 141 N. Maple St., Waterman, IL.
