Ellen first married Doyle Francisco and they had one son, Edward in 1925. Her second marriage was to Abe Crispin (no children). Abe died in 1958 and Ellen later married Ernest Renner, her sister Marie's widower. Ellen is buried beside Abe. Active 'til the end. Dearly loved.

Ellen married Doyle Francisco on December 10, 1924 in McDonald County. Ellen's son with Doyle was Edward Lawrence Francisco, who was born December 11, 1925, in Christopher, Newton County, Missouri, and who died on April 13, 2003. His death notice in the McDonald News Gazette said that he was buried in Stella, Missouri, in Union Cemetery--which is known as Owsley Union Cemetery. It is where his father was buried. Edward married Julia Mae Voss in 1944 in Arizona.

Ellen second married Albert Stone Crispin on July 11, 1936, in Benton County, Arkansas.

She married Ernest Samuel Renner on August 16, 1965, according to his obituary.
