Glen Leon McLean, age 71, of Reeds, MO, passed away March 27, 2010 surrounded by family and friends.

Glen was born February 20, 1939 in Partridge, KS to Fargie and Eva (Hirst) McLean.

Glen worked as a business agent for UFCW Local 340 for many years eventually becoming president.

After retirement, Glen continued to enjoy life on the farm.

He married Vikki Beetle in 1987. She survives.

Additional survivors include his three children, Bonnie Sapozmick and husband Ken of Los Angeles, CA, Brenda Locke and husband Kurt of Sarasota, FL and Brad McLean and wife Rhonda of Seneca, MO; 2 stepsons, Herald (Sam) Fullerton and wife Suzanne of Barnwell, SC and Ryan Fullerton and wife Coby of Lamar, MO; sister, Neomi Friesen of Buehler, KS, brother, Fred McLean and wife Jane of Mt. Hood, OR; 3 grandchildren, Travis, Justin and Aston, seven stepgrandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Kenneth (Mike).

Graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, April 3, 2010 at Partridge Cemetery in Partridge, KS.

Reeds, Missouri Mr. Glen Leon McLean, age 71, passed away Saturday, March 27, 2010 at 5:13 at the Webb City Health & Rehab.

Mr. McLean was born on February 20, 1939 in Partridge, KS to Fargie McLean and Eva Marie (Hirst) McLean.

Mr. McLean was a Baptist and a Union Official for the Labor Union.

Survivors include his wife Vikki McLean of the home, daughters Bonnie Sue Sapozhick and husband Ken of Redondo Beach, California and Blenola Lou Lock and husband Kurt of Myakka, City, FL; a son Bradley Leon McLean and wife Rhonda on Seneca, Missouri, steps sons Herald Samuel Fullerton and wife Susanne of Barnwell, SC and Ryan Christopher Fullerton and wife Coby of Lamar, MO.

Mr. McLean has been taken for cremation with no formal services at this time.

SYLVIA - Fargie Kenneth McLean, 80, died Jan. 1, 2008, at Stafford District Hospital.

He was born July 29, 1927, at Partridge, the son of Fargie and Eva Marie Hirst.

A Sylvia resident since 1957, he worked for the Santa Fe Railroad, the Sylvia Co-op, and was a farmer.

He belonged to Sylvia United Methodist Church and the Odd Fellows Lodge, Partridge.

He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Korean War.

On May 25, 1952, he married Dorothy Pendergass at Whiteside. She survives.

Other survivors include: a daughter, Linda Copeland, Sylvia; two brothers; Fred McLean, Oregon, and Glenn McLean, Reed, Mo; a sister, Naomi Reasen, Buhler; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sons, Mark and Larry.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Minnis Chapel, Stafford, with the Rev. Harry Graves presiding. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the chapel.

Burial will be in Partridge Cemetery.

Memorials may be sent to Sylvia United Methodist Church in care of the funeral chapel.
