Mrs. Johnston died Friday, March 26, in a Killeen hospital.
She was born on Feb. 16, 1922, to Marion S. and Cora Reavis Guthrie in Oakalla. On May 5, 1945, she married Ray Robert Johnston. She worked as a hospital supply clerk for Darnall Army Hospital. She was a member of the Baptist church, where she taught Sunday school and was active in WMU. She was preceded in death by her husband.
Survivors include a son, Robert Johnston of Liberty Hill; a daughter, Linda McAndrew of Lampasas; a sister, Nelda Elizabeth McAndrew of Boise, Idaho; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas
