JENNIE THOMPSON: Baker; died Thurssday afternoon at the home of her dau Miss Genevieve Thompson on Second St. MrsThompson was born 28 Oct 1848 in Ohio, a dau of Dr&Mrs Andrew Mayfield Watrous. She was married during the sixties to Daivd Sisley in Iowa & with him came to Baker in 1870. MrSisley was employed as a stage driver by the famous Overland Stage Company. All of the 6 children born to Mr&Mrs Sisley are dead; 3 dying in one day during a diptheria epidemic here in 1878. Following MrSisley's death his widow was married to John Thompson who is now deceased. One dau Genevieve survives. MrsThompson is also survived by a sister MrsJulia Jackson-DesMoines IA. Funeral services were held at the West Chapel today. Rev WW Deal of Nampa, who baptised MrsThompson & her dau had charge of the funeral. Interment was in the MtHope Cem.
