George joined his brothers in the operation of their foundry at Fostoria, Ohio. His term of usefulness was but short, being cut off with his untimely death, while on a business trip to Vermillion, Ohio to secure the necessary raw material for the iron plant.
George and Margaret had children: Dwight Reuben and Hortense Mary.
