Services were held at Knell Mortuary with Rev. Don Anderson.

Pallbearers were Boomer Baugh, Rowdy Baugh, Jere Sikes, Keith Sikes, Brian Todd and Spencer Weaver all grandsons of Mrs. Todd and Dick Baugh and John Baugh, friends of Mrs. Todd.

Anita Lucille Wheeler married Louis Arthur Todd Married in the First Christian Church, Carthage, Jasper, Missouri on April 6, 1943. They were married by Stanley Letcher, minister. There were five children born to this marriage, Carole, Janet, Jim, Tom and Christy.

One granddaughter, LeAnne Collette Frey preceded Anita in death in 1966 as well as Louis A. Todd who died 26 Jan 1998 and one son-in-law, Robert Burton Sikes.

Surviving her are her five children and their spouses: Sons and daughter-in-laws Tom and Leslie Todd of Florida, Jim and Star Todd of San Antonio, Texas; daughters and sons-in-laws, Carole and David Roper of Oranogo, Janet and Roger Frey of Texas, Chris and Ben Baugh of Carthage. Grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her sister Pauline Wheeler, Carthage.

Mrs. Todd was the youngest daughter of five daughters born to Elmer and Allie Wheeler. She was born in Mulberry, Kansas and later moved to Carthage where she lived until her death.

She accepted Christ as her savior as a child and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Carthage. Anita had many talents. She worked in the business administration field for many years. She loved crafts of all kinds and she loved to bake for her friends and family.

Spouse: Louis Arthur Todd. Louis was creamated and his ashes were scattered in Arkansas.
