Smith, 85, died at St. Jude's Medical Denter in Fullerton, CA of a sudden illness. She was visiting family in Fullerton. She lived in Carthage since 1970, moving from Inglewood, CA. She was a registered nurse for 40 years at Inglewood Hospital. She was a member of the Church of God Holiness in Carthage.
She married Walter W. Frey March 21, 1928. He preceded her in death March 14, 1963. There were no children born to this marriage. She was survived by her sister-in-law, Guyline Frey and a special nephew, from the Frey marriage, Grover Wilson
She married Earl M. Smith, Sr. on April 16, 1977 in Carthage. He died in June 1990.
From the Smith marriage she had three Smith grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
