Horace's funeral services were held at the Ballantyne & Son Funeral Home in Melrose, Mass., on Dec. 11, 1958 at 2:00 p.m. The officiating Clergy was Rev. Robert Stadig.

Both Horace and Sarah are buried at Spring Grove Cemetery in Andover, Mass., on the Hatch family plot, Lot # 196.
