Mrs. Mary Bare, widow of the late Jacob M. Bare, died on Saturday at her home near Greenville, age about 76 years. She was a most excellent Christian lady, and a member for many years of the Methodist Episcopal Church, South. Mrs. Bare was a devoted mother, and a neighbor that will be missed in her community.
She is survived by six children -- Rev. John Bare of Illinois, Mrs. R.B. Lambert of Waynesboro, Mrs. Cooley of Rockingham county, Mr. Lynn Bare of Mint Spring, and Mr. Wallace Bare and Miss Alma Bare of near Stuart's Draft. The funeral took place Tuesday morning from Calvary Chapel, conducted by her pastor, Rev. R.L. Eutsler, and the interment was in the adjoining cemetery.
