Funeral services were held 3 p.m. Monday, Dec. 22, at DeLoach-Kennedy Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. Bill King officiating. Interment followed at Burke Memorial Gardens in Waynesboro. Mr. Quick was born in Jenkins County, however, he spent most of his life in Burke County. He was preceded in death by his parents, Twid and Willie Mae Quick; and two brothers, Charles and Byne Quick. Survivors include his son, Michael Quick of Sardis; two daughters, Michelle Christy of Hephzibah and Brandy Quick of Sardis; a stepson, Steven Sikes of Sardis; two brothers, Twid Quick Jr. of Augusta and Harold Quick of Waynesboro; six sisters, Mary Brown, Deborah Sasser and Doris Lariscy, all of Waynesboro, Jane Neely and Sandra Minick, both of Augusta and Audrey Hunt of Columbia, S.C.; and one granddaughter, Lauren Christy of Hephzibah.
