HILL-SPANN, Mrs. Toni L. age 47, a lifelong resident of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at Hospice of Dayton. A graduate of Colonel White High School, Class of 1981 and attended Sinclair Community College and the Dayton Police Academy. Retired from the Dayton Police Department after 16 years of service. Toni served with the Dayton Public Schools. She was a faithful member of Greater Allen A.M.E. Church where she served as a member of the Altar Guild, Edith Hodge Womens Missionary Society, advisor to the New Generation Choir and former Class Leader.

Preceded in death by her mother, Norma L. Hill; maternal grandparents, Oliver & Alice Lane; paternal grandfather, Henry Reid. Survived and cherished by her husband, Charles Spann; daughter, Charlee; son, John-Paul; paternal grandmother, Hazel Reid; father, Rev. Dr. Terry, Sr. (Susan) Hill; 2 sisters, Pamela (Michael) Napper & Sgt. Kimberly Hill; 5 brothers, Michael, Sr. (Beverly), Gregory (Janeen), Terry Jr., Rev. Victor, Sr., (Gayle) & Eric Hill; 2 aunts, Phyllis Lane & Delores Dunson; uncle, Everett, Sr. (Norma) Lane; devoted friends, Von Cobb, Michelle Barnett, Ehler Brown, Mary Cain & Sharon Lattimore; many nieces, nephews, cousins, church families and friends.
