Aged 85 years (born c1712).

Daughter of Richard and Mercy Beebe Tozer, whose burial locations are unknown; married William Bently (Bentley) August 1, 1730. His burial location is also unknown.


Connecticut voted to raise 2,500 troops for the 1756 campaign against Crown Point (French & Indian War). Orange's husband enlisted in 6th Company, 3rd Regiment of Connecticut Volunteers on 5 April 1756 and marched north under Col. Nathan Whiting. He contracted "camp fever" (typhoid) while at Fort Ticonderoga and was hospitalized for several months. William was discharged on 22 October 1756, and while enroute home suffered a relapse. He made it as far as Hartford, Connecticut where he died on 7 December 1756, aged 48 years.
