RESIDENT FIFTY YEARS DIES
C. I. PICKETT WHO WAS BORN IN 1855 DIES AT HOME HERE
C. I. Pickett who has been a resident here for over fifty years died at home in this home at 2:24 o'clock Thursday, April 24, 1930. Mr. Pickett was born in Ohio in 1855.
Mr. Pickett had been ill since last fall, but has only been confined to his bed for two weeks. Funeral services will be held at two o'clock Saturday afternoon from the Free Methodist Church conducted by the Rev. Bertha Brown.

FUNERAL SERVICES ARE HELD FOR C. I. PICKETT
Funeral services for C. I. Pickett were held Saturday afternoon at two o'clock at the Free Methodist Church, conducted by Rev. Bertha Brown, pastor, assisted by Rev. C. T. Tackett of Gravity. Music was furnished by Mable Messinger and Rhoda Monzlugo, Francis Jones and Rev. C. F. Tackett.
Pallbearers were Ralph Cass, Clarence Cass, Dewey Porter, John Taylor, Ralph Ashbaugh, and Lester Ashbaugh.
Interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery.
