"Bettie" Ellis, married 30 November 1865 Houston County Service; Service; Co. B, 1st Texas Infantry, Hood's Brigade. Enlisspring of 1861 and remained until honorably discharged. Volunteered in Polk County; mustered in service at New Orleans, Louisiana on 16 May 1861.
