MR. CRAWFORD -- Mrs. Nettie Kate Bailey Rosen, 74, of Rt. 1, Mt. Crawford died Wednesday morning (Aug. 12, 1970) at Rockingham Memorial Hospital. She had been hospitalized since April 7.
Mrs. Rosen was born Dec. 14, 1895 at Fort Defiance and was a daughter of William H. and Sarah Catherine (Coiner) Bailey. She attended Shenandoah Conservatory of Music, Dayton.
She was a member of Laurel Hill Baptist Church near Verona.
On Dec. 16, 1921 she married Cecil Clyde Rosen who died Feb. 22, 1969.
Surviving are two sons, Davis C. and C.C. Rosen Jr., both of New Market; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Lee Beydler of Bridgewater; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Dr. Benjamin F. and Clarence A. Bailey, both of Staunton, and a sister, Miss Lillie B. Bailey of Stuarts Draft.
The funeral will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday at Trinity United Church of Christ, Mt. Crawford by the Rev. Charles Boyer Jr. and the Rev. Hebert E. Myers. Burial will be in St. Johns Reformed Church Cemetery at Middlebrook.
