Doris Alene Turk Farmer, 85 of Oakwood died Mon. May 19,2008. Born in Hall Co., she was a daughter of the late Joseph "Ceaf" and Emma Tallulah Hanes Turk. She was a member of Chestnut Mtn. Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her sisters, Stella Rolin and Bessie Allison; brothers, Elmer, John, Howard, Fred, Joe, Ralph, Selby and Hill Turk. Survivors include husband, B. H. Farmer; sons Darrell (Betty Jo) Farmer and Ronald Michael (Carol) Farmer; brother, Hammond (Lucille) Turk; sister, Ola Mae West; 4 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Services Thurs. in chapel of Little-Davenport F. H. with interment in Chestnut Mtn. Baptist Church Cemetery.
