The Huntsville Times, A funeral will be held tomorrow for Arva Cecil Brockway, 54, Rt. 1, New Hope, who died yesterday at Fifth Avenue Hospital after a short illness.
The service will be at Oak Grove Church of Christ at 2 p.m. Friday, with Thomas Rosenblum officiating. Burial will be in Drake Cemetery. The body will be at the residence until one hour prior to the service.
Surviving is the widow, Mrs. Dimple Drake Brockway; a daughter, Miss Louise Brockway, a son Ernest Brockway; three sisters, Mrs. Maggie Knox of Capshaw, Mrs. Ruth Hill and Mrs. Nellie Honey of Owens Cross Roads; three brothers, Clarence A. Brockway of New Hope, Fred Roy Brockway of Jacksonville, Fla., and Lawrence Allen Brockway with the U.S. Army in Germany.
Active pallbearers will be Billy Ray Stone, Dewey Schubert, Jr., A.C. Jones, Avery Williams, Ira Nash, James Long, and Pat Henry Mayo.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. James T. Carpenter, Dr. Thomas Dilworth, Hubert Hilliard, Claude Sturdivant, Lonnie Clark, Mite Shields, Bob Jackson, Joe Jackson, Paul Cell, and Bama Henson.
