Mrs. Mary Yates, wife of John Yates, died at her home three miles south of Alex, Saturday from pneumonia. She had been sick with the measles when pneumonia set up and death followed. She leaves a husband and two small children to mourn their loss. The funeral services were held Sunday and burial was made in the cemetery at Bradley.
