Funeral services for William Lyndon Whitehurst, 59, of 744 East Twenty-eighth Street, who died Wednesday will be held at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home this afternoon at 3:30 o'clock.
Mr. Whitehurst, a veteran street car motorman on the Riverview line, was a native of Princess Anne County and had been a resident of Norfolk for the past 38 years. He was a member of the Baptist Tabernacle. He was the son of the late T. C. and Mrs. Elizabeth Wilbern Whitehurst.
Besides his wife, Mrs. Mae Murphy Whitehurst, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Grace Mae Bowden and Mrs. Emily E. Walker; a brother, T. W. Whitehurst; three sisters, Mrs. S. C. Beasley, Mrs. P. L. Hodges and Mrs. E. H. Baines, and three grandchildren, all of Norfolk.
Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
