Born Albert Duwayne Harmon, Aug. 7, 1921, in Bessemer, PA to William Jefferson Harmon and Lena Bell Byers, he preferred being called "Wayne".
Wayne served in the Army during W.W. II. He had worked in the M.S.A. maintenance department before his retirement in 1986. He was a member of the Evans City American Legion Post 219, the M.S.A. golf league, and St. John's Lutheran Church.
Although his first love was golf, he also enjoyed bowling, horses, horse racing and watching sports.
He is survived by his son, four daughters, 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, a sister and a grandson.
