Carrie M Miller died in Brunswick, ME on June 12, 1931. She was born on May 19, 1864 in Pembroke, ME; the daughter of George and Ellen (Varney) Bartlett.
She was the former matron of the Claremont General Hospital. She became a matron in 1900 during the superintendency of Elizabeth Murray and served in that capacity for several years.
She married Fred J Miller on September 18, 1888 in Hyde Park, MA who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her son John who was killed in a plane crash in April 1918 as a member of the British Royal Air Force.
She is survived by son Robert who is, at present, teaching at Bowdoin Academy.
Interment will be in Mtn View cemetery beside her husband.
