Mary Leonteen LaLiberte died at the New London Hospital in New London, NH on December 13, 1997. She was born on March 4, 1920 in Tupper Lake, NY; the daughter of Antoine and Victoria (Lalonde) LaPorte.

She had lived in the Claremont and Charlestown, NH area for fifty seven years.

She married Anselme Henry LaLiberte on December 25, 1937 in Tupper Lake, NY who preceded her in death.
She was preceded in death by daughter Margaret M Willey in 1986.

Surviving are three sons Samuel H LaLiberte of Port Orange, FL, Leo P LaLiberte of Kingston, MA, and Donald R LaLiberte of Randolph, MA; four daughters Estelle C Adams of Langdon, NH, Rita M Tilton of Claremont, NH, Judy A Morris of Proctor, VT, and Doreen U Schefer of Laytonsville, MD; three brothers Albert LaPorte, Norman LaPorte, and Edmund LaPorte all of Schenectady, NY; two sisters Alma Durcher of Canada and Mrs Cecil Lane of Schenectady, NY; seventeen grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.

Burial is in Mtn View cemetery.
