Henrietta A. Evans of Claremont, NH died morning, October 26, 2006 at her home. She was a native and life long resident of Claremont, NH, born on April 22, 1910 the daughter of John D. and Minnie (Brock) Ayer.

She was a sales clerk for seventeen years for Harold Winer at the Queen Shop on Pleasant Street in Claremont and retired in 1977.

Henrietta was a member of the First Congregational Church, the National Grange and a member and Past Matron and Grand Marshall of Woodman-Aurora Chapter #26 Order of Eastern Star.

She was the widow of Harold A. Evans whom she married on Dec. 10, 1932 and he died in 1981 and was also predeceased by a son, Lawrence A. Evans who died in 1990.

She is survived by one son, Robert A. Evans of New London; two grandsons; three granddaughters; four great-grandsons and four great-granddaughters.

Interment will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
