She married Hugh Durward in 1881 in Logie Pert, Scotland and emigrated to the U S on the ship Ethiopia that left Glasgow, Scotland on April 5, 1894.
She was preceded in death by her husband and son James.
She is survived by children Hugh Jr, William, Margaret, Bella, Charles, John, and Jessie.
Burial is in Mtn View cemetery.
