GRAY - Vivian (L.A.) Williams, 88, passed away on Thursday, March 25, 2010 in a local hospital. Funeral services will be held at 3P.M. Monday in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with burial in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Mark Johnson will officiate. The family will meet friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home. -Mrs. Williams, wife of the late Lewis Albert Williams, a retired Macon Fireman, was born in Metter the daughter of the late Frank Otis Stone and Elizabeth (Lizzie) Morris Stone. She had lived in the Middle Georgia Area all her life and was retired from Keebler Co. after twenty-eight years. Mrs. Williams was a member of New Heights Baptist Church. -She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews including Joann (Ken) Thompson of Gray, Elizabeth (Terrell) Marshall of Crawford County, Geraldine Lankford of Gray, Latha (David) Barnes of Eatonton and Frankie (Marvin) Riner of Oak Park, Peggy Hatfield of Sumter, SC and Hilda Stevens of Florida. -Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery has charge of arrangements.
