Born September 30, 1947 in Lancaster, she was a daughter of Edward C. Harnish and the late Clara J. (Glacken) Ewing.
Vicki was employed at Tyco for many years.
She enjoyed animals - especially her five cats.
In her spare time, Vicki liked to play Bingo, fish, and visit casinos. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her daughter and granddaughter.
In addition to her father and husband: Gilbert M. Thompson III of Conestoga, she is survived by her daughter: Amy L. wife of Brian Rankin of Mount Wolf; her step-sons: Christopher and Kenneth Thompson, both of Lancaster; her granddaughter: Breanne Jordan; her grandsons: Danny and Kenneth Jordan; her sisters: Kathy Martin, Deborah L. Chester, and Cindy M. Fulmer; and, her brothers: Thomas J. and Mark D. Harnish.
Viewing will be from 10:00 - 11:00 AM on Monday, March 29, 2010 in the Gundel Funeral Home, 415 North Duke Street, Lancaster. Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 AM with Pastor Michelle Armster officiating.
Burial will be at 02:00 PM on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
