Per Jacobsen was a Norwegian figure skater who was the national champion in 1931 and 1932. He was the son of Sigval Jacobsen (1867-1928) and Agathe née Backer Røed (1876-1925). During WWII, he became involved in the Norwegian resistance movement and was eventually sent to Natzweiler-Struthof Concentration Camp on August 6, 1943. He survived for almost a year before dying on June 13, 1944 in the concentration camp. Most people who were brought to this camp only survived a few months.
