ALVIN MURRAY ADKISON, 71, of Millington, retired electrical and plumbing maintenance employee at Shelby Forest State Park, died Monday at Methodist Hospital North. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Munford (Tenn.) Funeral Home with burial in Poplar Grove Cemetery in Drummonds, Tenn. He was a member of Poplar Grove Assembly of God. Adkison, the husband of Wilma Hoy Adkison, also leaves three daughters, Mrs. Joyce Sweeney of Bartlett, Mrs. Nadine Massey of Enterprise, Ala., and Mrs. Maxine Meadors of Drummonds ; two sons, Leonard Adkison of Munford and Alvin Ray Adkison of Southaven; a sister, Mrs. Robbie Sue McQueen of Memphis; a brother, Pete Adkison of Hughes, Ark., 19 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
