Claude S. Edwards, 85, of Tuscumbia died Monday March 26, 1990 at St. Elizabeth Care Center, where he had been a resident for three years.
He was born February 11, 1905 in Tuscumbia to Arthur and Bessie Davidson Edwards.
He was a security guard for Armour Meat Packing in Kansas City for 20 years. After retiring, he retured to Tuscumbiua; and engaged in farming.
Surviving him are a brother, Grant Edwards of Tuscumbia and a sister, Wilma Thomas, of Kansas City, Kansas.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Stevinson-Mossman Funeral Home in Iberia with Bro. Gene Edwards officiating. Burial will be in the Tuscumbia Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 at the nursing home.
