South Byron - The many friends of Mrs. Robert Bentley (nee Melissa Collins) were surprised and grieved to learn of her sudden death Tuesday. She complained on Sunday morning of not feeling well, and grew rapidly worse until Monday evening at 7 o'clock, when she passed away. Mrs. Bentley leaves a widower and little girl Elva of about 12 years, and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Collins, a brother, Dr. D. C. Collins and two sisters of Chicago, a sister, Mrs. Cramer, of Tracy, Minn., also two brothers, Howard and Edwin Collins of this place. Mrs Bently was an earnest christian, a devoted wife and mother and leaves a large circle of friends who greatly regret her sudden death.
