Argus-Courier, Monday, September 12, 1898:
A PIONEER'S BURIAL...The remains of the late Isaac Fuller arrived here Sunday afternoon on the 5:30 train in charge of Will Fuller and were taken to the residence of Mrs. P.D. Gilbert on D Street, from which place the funeral took place this morning at 11 o'clock. Rev. Ben Sargent officiated and a large line of vehicles followed the hearse to Cypress Hill. There all that was mortal of the well-known and respected pioneer was laid to rest in the Fuller plot with those of the family who had gone before. Following were the pallbearers: H.E. Lawrence, J.E. McNabb, H. Mecham, C.R. Newberry, Geo. Lamoreaux, A. Peoples.

Ferndale Enterprise, Ferndale, Humboldt Co., California - September 27, 1898:
Isaac Fuller, the aged father of C.I. Fuller, of Wild Cat, and Will Fuller, of Manchester, Mendocino County, whose serious illness we mentioned in a recent issue, has been laid to his final rest in the cemetery at Petaluma. Deceased breathed his last at his son Will's home at Manchester on September 10th. He was born in Ohio in 1811, came to California in 1853, and to Humboldt in 1880. He was a thoroughly good man, and many friends here will read of his death with feelings of sincere regret. To his bereaved sons we extend our sympathy in their sad bereavement.
