LILLIAN E. DUNBAR
Lillian E. Dunbar, formerly of McCook, NE, died Sunday in Denver. She was born Sept. 1, 1912 in McCook, and was married August 22, 1939 to John Dunbar Jr.
Mrs. Dunbar was a past regent of 37th Star Chapter, D.A.R. , past president of the Matinee Music Club, past matron of the Eureka Chapter No. 86 O.E.S. and past assembly advisor of Rainbow for Girls.
She is survived by her husband, John Dunbar Jr., two children: Dorothy Helen Jernberg, John Dunbar III, both of Denver; her mother, Mrs. Maude Best, McCook; a brother, Ellwood Best, McCook; and a sister, Mrs. Ila Stramel, Redwood Falls, MN.
Christian Science services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Herrmann Funeral Home. Ben Hormel will be the reader and interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be left at the Funeral home for the Wide Horizon Foundation.
