The youngest of the four McKnight children, Harriet was a physical education teacher and also taught English at both Genoa and Bowling Green High School. She was deeply committed to family and loved taking her grandfather for rides in the car on Sunday. Interested in family history, she and her sister, Mary, donated many antique family momentoes to both the Wood County Historical Society and Jermone Library. On 25 September 1943, she married Don Cunningham, and they had three children whom she loved dearly. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Wood County Historical Society, Wood County Hospital Guild, PEO Sisterhood, Alpha Xi Delta Alumnae, Bowling Green State University President's Club, Wheeled Meals, Lifeline, and the Falcon Club. We miss you Harriet.
