Charles Williams was born August 18, 1878, and died December 30, 1933. In 1902 he was married to Miss Bessie Driskell. To this union six children were born, all surviving. He obeyed the gospel while in his youth, and at the age of twenty-four began preaching. His preaching has been hindered in the last few years by his suffering from heart trouble. Fortunate are those blessed with Christian fathers whose lives are not lived for earthly gain. The writer conducted the funeral services at the church of Christ at Tupelo, Miss. --- E. L.
