James Michael (Nikky) Hamra, 69, passed away on March 19, 2010, at his home in San Angelo, Texas after a long illness. He was born on September 22, 1940, in Henryetta, OK. He was the son of Nick and Virginia (Massad) Hamra. He attended schools in Henryetta graduating with the class of 1958. He loved playing football with the Henryetta Hens. He attended Okla. State for one year, and graduated with a business degree from Central State University in Edmond. He spent most of his life working in Los Angeles for Earthlink. After he retired, he moved to San Angelo to be with this son, Cody Hamra. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his son, Cody Hamra, his step-daughters, Amanda Johnson and Whitney Johnson, his former wife, Gloria Neumeyer, who is his best friend, all of San Angelo. He is also survived by his sister, Nancy Patton and husband Jon, a nephew, Barry Patton and his family, and a niece, Diane Fix and her family all of Stillwater, OK. A memorial service was held at 2 p.m., on Tuesday, March 23, 2010, at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Arrangements were by Robert Massie Funeral Home of San Angelo, TX.
