79, Former restaurant owner; Funeral for Lillie Mae "Bill" Garrett, 79, of Decatur will be Saturday at 1 P.M. at Rideout's Brown-Service Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Stephenson officiating. Burial will be in Rock Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday night from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. Mrs. Garrett died Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2000, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born Aug. 15, 1921, in Morgan County to Aaron and Myrtle Oden. she was former owner of Luigi's Grill on Fifth Avenue Southwest and a member of Rock Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Edward Garrett; four daughters, Judy Carr, Nancy Smith and Cheri Roper, all of Decatur, and Nina Holt of Hartselle; two sisters, Ilean Moore and Flossie Ponter, both of Decatur; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Ben Drinkard, Gary Drinkard, Thurman Garrett, Ellis Garrett, Tim Moore and Barney Pate.
