Isaac P. Cadman, one of the pioneer residents of Beloit died this morning at 9 o'clock at the Emergency hospital of paralysis after an illness of almost three weeks. Mr. Cadman was born in Saratoga County, NY on July 1, 1833. He came to Wisconsin with his parents when he was about 19 years of age and settled in Newark. Mr. Cadman has lived in Beloit for the past 42 years and is survived by (3) sons: Frank M. (Frank Mead Cadman), George L. (George Luther Cadman), and A. B. (Addi Benjamin Cadman), all of Beloit; (1) daughter: Mrs. F. D. Tyler (Georgiana) of Mitchell, and (1) brother: E. G. (Edward George Cadman). Funeral was held from the home of F. M. Cadman. Interment in Newark Cemetery. Beloit Daily News - 20 Jan 1917.
