Rock Hill-Mrs. Florence Vertie (Hall) Swanger passed away December 6, 2005. A native of Haywood County, North Carolina, Mrs. Swanger was a daughter of the late Charles Robert Hall and Margaret Nelson Hall. She retried from Springs Industries and was a member of Calvary Tabernacle Church of God, where she was a Sunday school teacher. She was the widow of Allen R. Swanger Sr..
Surviving are two sons, Allen R Swanger Jr. of York and Charles W Swanger of Rock Hill: her daughter Glenda L Culbertson of Rock Hill: her brother Hiram Hall of Belmont (South Stanley) North Carolina; ten grand children; and twelve great-grandchildren.
